Each node bears a large number of branches to the culm base, making a dense hedge. This plant is very popular for hedge plantings. Very drought tolerant once established, also one of the most hardy of the clumpers we carry. A dwarf version of ‘Green Hedge’, in direct sun, canes tend to develop a gold tint. Small-sized clumper, non-invasive.
