Each node bears a large number of branches to the culm base, making a dense hedge. This plant is very popular for hedge plantings. Many leaves have white stripes and some culms are also striped with white. Very drought tolerant once established, also one of the most hardy of the clumpers we carry. Medium- sized clumper, non-invasive.
