Bambusa multiplex ‘Goldstripe’ is primarily a green bamboo with the occasional gold stripe that appears on mature canes. This variety can provide a very dense screen or it can be thinned out and trimmed to expose the canes, as pictured above. It is a happy medium between the dense look of a Multiplex and the cleaner cane look of a Textilis. Darwin really liked this one!
