Sinobambusa tootsik ‘Albostriata is a beautiful running bamboo that gets 20 feet tall with gorgeous variegated leaves. ! It is one of the few runners that we grow and we love it because it is less aggressive than many runners, is extremely vertical, is very cold hardy, and is absolutely beautiful! You can plant it in narrow spaces where the desire is to create a privacy screen with a narrow footprint. You can grow in planters as pictured on our site. If you have some space you can even grow it in a grove with the option of carving out walkways and/or seating areas within the grove. While technically listed at 30 ft tall we have seen it consistently grow to 20 feet tall. This bamboo is the future for vertical privacy screens in narrow spaces!
