Textilis Mutabilis (Emerald Bamboo) is a fine specimen plant for landscaping, especially when viewed up close.  With a very upright and elegant posture, this bamboo maintains a rich, dark green color.  It's larger height yields larger culm diameters, making it one of the larger of our cold hardy bamboos for Texas.

Maximum Height- 40 feet (Ours has gotten 35 ft tall on the northwest side of Houston.)
