Bambusa textilis Weaver’s Bamboo is a gorgeous variety of bamboo that produces large diameter green canes with a ghosty white/blue color (bloom) on the new shoots! It can make a great privacy screen or be a beautiful focal point. The canes are thin walled and are often used for weaving baskets. A friend of ours cuts canes from our Weaver’s Bamboo to make beautiful baskets that we like to use for our produce.
